Font design surely not an easy task. But when you finished your font and want your audiences knowing it, another painful task is specimen book(s). It is painful because the designer is surely too into the font designing process, hard to design a good sepcimen if one too familiar with the font. Tt's always best to let this task done by other great designers, but I have to do it on my own this time.
